The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 14 Junior Administrative Assistant (JAA) posts under the Establishment of the Assam Public Service Commission. Eligible candidates can submit their applications for this recruitment from 20th December 2024 to 9th January 2025.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university.
Computer Knowledge: Candidates must possess a minimum 6-month Diploma/Certificate in Computer Proficiency from a Government-recognized institute. Additionally, they must have proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Internet usage.
Age Limit: The candidate must be at least 21 years old and not more than 40 years old as of 01/01/2024.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for SC, ST(P), and ST(H) candidates, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Note: The age limit of candidates will be determined based on the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No other documents will be accepted as proof of age for this purpose.
Small Family Norms: Candidates are required to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A while applying for the post.
Application Fee: There is no application fee as per the Government notification. However, candidates are required to pay a processing fee of Rs.47.20/- (including tax) to submit their application.
